Caramelized Cinnamon & Brown Sugar Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients

1 Pineapple cut into spears

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup of melted vegan butter

1 1/2 teaspoons of Vietnamese Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne Powder (Optional)


Instructions

  1. Take your pineapple and cut it into spears

  2. Melt your butter in the microwave

  3. Once you have cut your pineapple spears, place the spears in a pan and then sprinkle with a touch of cinnamon.

  4. Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon (and optional cayenne if you want heat) and stir.

  5. Using a pastry brush or cooking brush, spread the topping evenly over the pineapple.

  6. Grill for about 10 minutes.

  7. ENJOY!!

We party hard with pineapples! It's so popular we sneak it and have private parties like this one with Vivian! It is also beneficial for any of our pigs that suffer from arthritis.
