This limited-edition holiday bracelet was lovingly handmade by our amazing volunteers Kay and Eileen, each one carrying a piece of Arthur’s Acres magic. Crafted with materials gathered right here at the sanctuary — leaves from Karl’s tree, threads of golden straw, and wisps of sanctuary hay — each a symbol of love and life at Arthur’s Acres.
Straw — Golden strands of straw from the cozy bedding our residents snuggle into on chilly nights. It represents comfort, care, and the soft place every rescue deserves.
Karl’s Tree — Karl’s tree was planted on his rescue anniversary, after his passing, as a living tribute to honor his life. Today, it offers shade and protection to his family, just as Karl himself did when he was alive. The leaves gathered for this bracelet come from that tree, carrying forward his strength, his gentleness, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
Hay — Hand-gathered hay from the barn, where morning breakfasts turn into joyful chaos. It captures the everyday magic, the munching, the chatter, the community that forms around mealtimes.
