General Shipping Information
We appreciate your patience as our store is run by our volunteers! Our volunteers typically pack orders on Saturdays, and the packages are usually brought to the post office on Monday or Tuesday. Please know that sanctuary schedules may delay delivery by a week should an emergent need arise.
Orders that are shipped by media mail, in a poly bag, or in a box will be shipped out via a service known as "Pirate Ship". You will receive a separate email from ship@pirateship.com that will contain tracking information about 2 days after we have packed your order.
Delivery fees include both shipping, handling, and in some cases, insurance fees. We reserve the right to contact you and request additional payment if actual shipping due to size or weight exceeds the amount we have collected for delivery.
International Shipping
Your destination shipping company may charge brokerage fees, additional customs, duties, or taxes. We cannot calculate those fees, and your courier may contact you for these fees. The purchaser is responsible for all applicable customs and duty fees, brokerage fees, and any country assigned taxes. Your package is valued at the invoiced purchase price for each item in your order on any applicable customs forms. Items that include the word "donation" are not included in customs forms.
We have added international shipping to countries where there is the ability to track the order. If you are interested in shipping to a country that is not currently available, please contact us by email at arthursacresanimalsanctuary@gmail.com and we will work with you to see if we are able to supply a solution.
International shipping will take between 1 to 4 weeks to deliver, depending upon individual carrier practices. Please see the tracking information that will come from the email address ship@pirateship.com . Your order will go to a central international shipping center via USPS, and then be shipped to your local carrier to deliver.
